Work has started to improve Southampton Street Car park! The flower bed at the back of the old Budgens site is being removed to make way for a seating area, flower beds and signs will also be improved, as well as general improvements. This is a partnership project – VWHDC are carrying out the hard landscaping, FTC will be working with local groups to improve the flower beds and to install seating and boards marking out walking and cycling routes. If you have any ideas please come to the Town Budget meeting on Monday 2nd December – 7.30pm in the Corn Exchange and share them with your councillors.
