This year, alongside Active Oxfordshire and Sir Muir Gray, we are running a campaign titled ‘Share your Warmth’. This campaign is asking those who receive a winter fuel allowance that they feel they do not need, whether they would like to donate some or all of it towards helping support the elderly and vulnerable during the winter. Although this is our primary audience, if you do not receive a fuel allowance but would like to donate then we would very much appreciate this also.
Donations, which can be made via Just Giving (https://justgiving.com/campaign/warmth) go towards the following:
- Supporting housebound people to do specialist seated exercise at home
- Supporting older people to attend tailored group exercise classes
- Friendly phone calls to those housebound or lonely

In the current circumstances with the COVID-19 pandemic, campaigns such as this are more important than ever, and this coming winter may prove to be incredibly hard for many. If you feel you can and would like to support the Share Your Warmth campaign, then we would be incredibly grateful for your contributions.
If you have any queries about this campaign, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Age UK Oxfordshire.
