Home Care is a vital service that keeps people living in their homes for as long as possible. Oxfordshire County Council is reviewing Home Care Services (for example, washing, dressing, medication prompting service) it buys from providers in Oxfordshire. We are holding a workshop for about 50 people on the 3 June from 10am to 1pm. The audience will consist of, people who receive Home Care, providers of Home Care and people who work in Health and Adult Social Care. The workshop’s purpose is to set the scene for the review and discuss key themes, for example, Home Care Standards and managing increasing needs.
We are looking for people/ or representative carers across Oxfordshire who:
- Receive Home Care now, following an assessment from Social Services or Continuing Health Care
- Struggle to find Home Care, for example needed to wait in hospital for Home Care before they could be discharged
- Self -funders of Home Care – people who buy and pay for the service directly from the provider.
- People/ representative carers of people with different needs, for example high physical needs, dementia etc.
Please contact Maryse Pomlett by email on [email protected] to express an interest in attending. Thank You we look forward to hearing from you.
