The following are the dates you need to know if you wish to vote in the May 2015 elections:

• Deadline to register to vote – Monday 20 April
• Deadline for receiving new postal vote and postal proxy applications, and for changes to existing postal or proxy votes – Tuesday 21 April
• Deadline for receiving new applications to vote by proxy – Tuesday 28 April
• Polling day – Thursday 7 May (7am to 10pm)
